DINNER TIME
Remember those metal trays used at lunch time to serve anything from stewed meat to that delicious sponge cake topped with jam? The school took delivery of these back in 1949 and they're still using the things, almost sixty years on! Generations of Blue Coat students have eaten hundreds of tons of dinner from them.
They were made by Watson's of Enfield. I wonder if they're still in business?
These have got to be the oldest pieces of equipment still in use at the Blue Coat School, unless you know different!
See the ladies who use this equipment on the Recent Pictures page.
