OLD SCHOOL RULES

The pictures below are the six foolscap sheets of School Rules issued to all new boys in 1971. In those pre-computer and pre-photocopier days, they were typed on a wax stencil and printed on a Gestetner duplicator.

To see each page clearly, just left-click on it to open it up. Then if you right-click on it, you have the option to zoom in even closer. To close a page, you can left click on the small square in its top right corner, or click on any other part of the page. (Remember to zoom out again before you do this).

DOWNLOAD THE SCHOOL RULES

Click this button to download the rules to your own computer. Then you can print them out. Please be patient, the file size for School Rules 1971 is over 6 Mb and it will take a few minutes!

The file size for the Boarding House Rules 1969 is just under 1 Mb.

Below are the Boarding House Rules of 1969, kindly sent in by Alan Murray, now living in New Zealand. Not realising that Mr Crebbin was going to collect them in, he inserted a comment on page 4. To avoid retribution he sneaked his copy out, meaning it is probably the only surviving set of these rules.
