SCHOOL NEWS
New Headteacher
The Tricentenary celebrations draw to a close and Sandy Tittershill has retired, having started teaching at the Blue Coat in 1966, and becoming headmaster in 2001.
As we move into the next three hundred years, the school's first-ever headmistress takes the reins in September this year. Debbie Silcock has taught at the school for eight years and was Deputy Head (Curriculum)
We wish Sandy well as he departs, and look forward to working with Debbie in the years ahead.
Sandy is now President of the Brotherly Society.
The new Year 13 Centre is now complete. It incorporates the former Senior Wing (Sanatorium) and "Pegleg's landing". Below are some "before and after" pictures, taken in May and November 2007. (The staircase has gone).
